Privacy notice

The Knowledge Asset Opportunity Check is provided by Knowledge Asset Studio, part of The Customer’s Shoes Limited, which is the data controller. This notice summarises how the Check handles your information. It sits alongside our full Privacy Policy, which applies in full.

What we collect

You can complete the Check and see your results without telling us who you are. We store your answers, the two context questions and your resulting Snapshot against an anonymous reference, along with basic usage information such as pages visited and referring campaign. If you ask us to email your Snapshot, we also collect your first name and email address, and optionally your business name and website.

How we use it

To produce and show your Opportunity Snapshot.
To send the Snapshot email you requested, and keep a record of your enquiry so we can respond if you contact us.
To understand, in aggregate, how the Check is used and improve it.
To send marketing only if you separately tick the marketing consent box. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Your Snapshot is produced by fixed rules. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you, and your answers are not sent to any AI service.

Retention and transfers

We keep your information only for as long as needed for these purposes and to meet our legal obligations, then delete it. Data may be stored outside the UK, including in the USA, with appropriate safeguards in place.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. Please use our data subject request form, or email info@thecustomersshoes.com. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
